There, I said it. In the world we increasingly hear things like, "Don't commit to something if it doesn't bring you joy, " "If it doesn't serve you, cut it out of your life." Well, I have to disagree. Life is not all about making it easier for ourselves. There are things we need to do that will be hard, require sacrifice, and not bring us a lot of joy in the moment. I know it feels impossible some days. You're juggling nursing sessions, nap schedules, snack requests, and the beg kid lessens all at once. It can feel overwhelming and like you're not doing enough. But the good news is you can homeschool and do well in this season. It just looks different than you might imagine. When I first started homeschooling, I did not even know there were different styles of homeschool.
