I am a former Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for the Southern District of New York, and as an AUSA, I investigated a couple of major addiction clinics for false billings, kickbacks and other issues. Since that time, I have moved from prosecuting behavioral health entities to defending and advising behavioral health entities, many of which are small businesses in remote parts of the country.
