And the quiet reality that by the time I had done everything for everyone else, there was nothing left for me — and nothing left for my future either. The only way out of that flat, out of that ceiling, was to create time to build myself. And that meant being intentional about protecting my energy.<br /></p><p>This episode is your permission slip.
