In this first of two episodes, we map the rising world of the Nones, the SBNR, and what Tara Isabella Burton calls the “Remixed”—a culture moving from inherited faith to customized meaning. We’ll show why “none” doesn’t always mean “nothing,” why spirituality is often treated like a personal toolkit, and how many people are rebuilding the sacred on their own terms—both outside religion and even inside it.

Then we draw the line that matters most: the Gospel is not something we get by looking within. It’s something given—from outside of us—because God has acted in Jesus Christ.
