Today we are fortunate to be joined by the editor and publisher of the Webster County Citizen Dan Wehmer. For most of the last 36 years, Dan has been on point for every new lead and June anniversary. put away your pocket size magic lantern shows, close your eyes and listen.

It's time to strike off on the paths less traveled, and trails so lonely

Here we experience stories from the hills and hollers, the river banks and the brush,

It's time to venture into the Wild and Woolly Ozarks,

I'm your native guide and host Champ Herren.

As of this recording the farm is cooler and wetter, the haze of an off again on again

Ozarks rainy spell adds some haze to the evening, making the shadows dance in the setting sun only to loom large and dark before sunset.

Its both dreary and lovely….
