In this episode of the Activate Your Destiny podcast I share a real moment from my birthday where my husband asked me what I wanted and my response was almost always the answer that I thought either he needed, that my children needed, or that somebody else needed. It was very rarely the truth about what I actually wanted.

We talk about what Isaiah 54:2 says about the space you are allowed to take up. God said enlarge it, stretch it, do not hold back. And yet we keep shrinking and folding ourselves into whatever space is left.

We get into what boundaries actually are and why they show people how to love you. Making room does not just look like saying no. Your schedule should be built around what matters and everything else fits within that.

I also share a real story from a Mom School quarterly planning session where we went through one mom's full weekly schedule and found everything she was doing out of guilt that had nothing to do with what actually served her family.

The first thing we put aside is the only thing that directly impacts us. That ends today.

But God had something waiting for me on the other side of that “I don’t feel like it” moment.

 But God reminded me: what’s in your hands is enough when it’s surrendered to Him. 

From my daughter’s birthday to the way I run Mom School — I’m learning that stewardship isn’t about perfection… it’s about peace, purpose, and partnership with God.

This verse has been my classroom lately. Between being a wife, a homeschool mama, a Village leader, and a coach — God’s been teaching me that I can pour out wisdom, but I can’t control the outcome.

I can lead with strategy, structure, and truth… but real impact only happens when I lead with love.

This week, I’m sharing what that verse looks like in real life  when you’re saying yes to God without knowing what He’s doing.

From leading the Village and Mom School, to homeschooling, to saying yes to Cornell (in secret!) this season has been a masterclass in trusting God one step at a time.

There were nights I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and questioning how it would all come together. But God kept reminding me:

“You’re not doing this in your strength you’re clothed in Mine.”

In this episode, I talk about:
 ✨ How obedience often comes before understanding
 ✨ The role of community in carrying you through purpose
 ✨ Why you can walk — and even laugh — without fear of the future
