We are the Oklahoma Covenanters.</p><p></p><p>What are the Oklahoma Covenanters?</p><p>We share the convictions with those who have gone before us who have fought for, suffered, and died for Christ and His Covenant.</p><p>Our allegiance is to Christ our Lord and Redeemer above all earthly authorities.</p><p>Our commitment is to speak God's covenantal truth and promises as revealed in the Word of God.</p><p>Our willingness is to stand firm to these principles even if it means we suffer.</p><p></p><p>Our Constitution: </p><p>We, God's covenant people, are committed to doing our part to obey the great commission, stewarding our gifts in doing ordinary hard work to the glory of God, trusting in the Lord to use his ordinary means of grace, and resting on the Lord's Day as we gather to meet with Him at His request. We will hold to this regular rhythm until the Lord Jesus returns and brings the consummation of every covenant promise. </p><p></p><p>Why Covenant Theology?</p><p>We believe that Oklahoma's great need is for the planting and revitalizing of churches churches through consistent communication and application of covenant theology. The covenant concept is both the unifying theme of reformed theology and the greatest gift we can give our state. J.I. Packer stated, “The gospel of God, the word of God, and the reality of God is not properly understood till it is viewed within a covenantal frame.”</p><p></p><p>Our Purpose:</p><p>We hope to build a network and community throughout the state to accomplish our mission.
